Greene County Government has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking a qualified non-profit organization to manage and organize the second annual Ram Fest, tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Greene County Recreation Complex in Snow Hill, North Carolina.

Ram Fest was created in 2025 by County staff as a celebration of our citizens, neighbors, non-profits, churches, small businesses, volunteers, and everything that makes Greene County special. The County is committed to ensuring this festival continues and grows for future generations. Transitioning leadership to a local non-profit will help make the event more sustainable in the years to come.
Eligibility:
This opportunity is open to non-profit organizations that are either based in Greene County or have active operations in Greene County.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and coordinating all aspects of Ram Fest 2026
- Fundraising and vendor management
- Marketing and community engagement
- Coordinating logistics, volunteers, and day-of operations
The County will allow use of the Greene County Recreation Complex at no charge. While the County may elect to sponsor the event, no operating funds will be provided. The County’s Director of Economic Development will serve as the liaison throughout the process.
Important:
The name “Ram Fest” is part of the festival’s identity and may not be changed without written approval from Greene County Government.

Proposals are due no later than 5:00 PM on July 11, 2025.
