Greene County, Jones County, Lenoir County, Pitt County, Wayne County, and their incorporated communities are updating the Neuse River Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan. Local governments are required to prepare and update hazard mitigation plans to be eligible for FEMA hazard mitigation assistance grants.
