The Greene County Board of Elections has appointed Melissa Dixon as the new Elections Director. She will officially begin her role on Monday.
Melissa is a lifelong resident of Greene County and has spent the past 13 years serving the community as an Instructional Assistant at Lenoir Community College’s Greene County campus. Her dedication to education and commitment to supporting students have made a lasting impact.
Beyond her professional experience, Melissa is actively involved in the community and enjoys traveling. She is also an avid crafter, with a passion for painting, crocheting, and cross-stitching. In her free time, she cherishes moments with her family and enjoys reading.
