Greene County Emergency Services would like to notify residents of Greene County and surrounding counties that as part of film production in the Scuffleton area, explosives, fireworks, and cannons may be heard throughout the day and evening hours of Tuesday, March 26, Wednesday, March 27, and Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Weather permitting, testing may be performed throughout the day and primary hours of detonation are planned for 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Residents may hear loud explosives and see fireworks, light flashes, or smoke.
There is no threat to the public and GCEM confirms calls to 9-1-1 Communications are not needed for this event.
