Greene County has announced a water and sewer rate increase, effective July 1. The rate adjustment is necessary to ensure the long-term sustainability and reliability of the county’s water and sewer systems. The Greene County Board of Commissioners voted to increase Greene County residential water rates by 5.5% and to increase residential sewer rates by 5.5%.
New rates will be applied to usage starting July 1. Customers will see the new rates reflected on their bills starting in late – July.
