Best Chapel School is central to the Tuscurora War Location in which was once called the "Land of the Nuesioks", "The Contentnea Vicinity" and now "Bullhead".
Best School was an early 2 room school, built between 1886 and 1915 and was denoted as being a Rosenwald School in a 1998 Survey of Historic Properties of Greene County. Best School was one of the earliest with records showing education had not been formalized as of yet.
