Work First Program
The Work First program focuses on employment and self-sufficiency. The program provides financial assistance to low-income families. Participants must cooperate with Child Support, meet eligibility requirements, complete substance abuse screenings and actively participate in work-related activities leading to self-sufficiency.
Work First Emergency Assistance Program
The Work First Emergency Assistance program provides one-time financial assistance for situations that occur through no fault of an individual or a person in the home. Funds for this program are provided to support employment and to resolve employment related emergencies. Applicants must have a minor kinship child in the home for which they are financially responsible. Eligibility for this program is based on income of the families and resources.
