Greene County is proud to recognize Finance Director Sandy Shirtz for her outstanding leadership in managing the County’s financial resources. Greene County participates in a cash management program with Cashvest three+one, and for nearly a year and a half, Ms. Shirtz has worked diligently to maximize the value and efficiency of our available funds.
Over the last four quarters, Greene County has scoredover 90 points in Cashvest’s 100-point rating system—qualifying our organization for the prestigious 90+ Club. Entry into the 90+ Club requires meeting several rigorous financial performance benchmarks, including:
- Percentage of Available Funds Providing Value
- Liquidity Proficiency
- Warnick Rate Indicator
- Cashflow Optimization
- Investment Policy and Practices
Thanks to Ms. Shirtz’s dedication and commitment to strong financial stewardship, Greene County has become the first county in North Carolina to earn membership in the Cashvest 90+ Club.
